Unique Charity bears designed by international celebrities and opinion leaders such as President Bill Clinton, Sir Elton John, Sean Penn, Nicole Kidman, Sharon Stone, Heidi Klum, Janet Jackson, Adrien Brody, Vivienne Westwood, Eva Longoria, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roberto Cavalli, Versace or Conchita Wurst will be auctioned on December 8, 2014 at Sotheby's New York to benefit the project "Operation Bobbi Bear" to ensure the continuation of this important work.

HELP US TO PROTECT SEXUALLY ABUSED CHILDREN!
Every fourth girl under the age of 16 is raped in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal. That makes 530 children a day. It is estimated that 51% of all adults between 16 and 45 are HIV positive, which is the age of most sexual offenders – HIV-infection through a rapist becomes very likely. Without treatment, HIV causes death for most children.
Operation Bobbi Bear works to protect sexually abused children, helps to minimize the risks of infection at the point of rescue and tries to bring the perpetrators to justice. Jackie Branfield, Founder of the organization, uses a teddy bear “Bobbi Bear” as a device to help the child explain what happened to them by drawing on the Bear.
The Bear is them sealed in a bag, signed and produced at court which prevents the children from re-telling and re-telling their painful stories in front of an audience again and again. We seek to raise $64,000 in order to give Operation Bobbi Bear the means to operate for a total of six months – six months in support of the children of KwaZulu-Natal.
